What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and heightened focus, allowing you to access parts of your mind that are usually inaccessible in an ordinary state of consciousness.
Hypnosis is used for therapeutic purposes to help you overcome a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, pain, phobias, sleep disorders and many more.
Hypnosis is a state of altered consciousness between sleep and wakefulness during which you are more sensitive to suggestions and influences from your environment.
You come to transform an emotion, modify a feeling, improve a performance for a purpose that is beneficial to you.
When you are under hypnosis, with my help or in self-hypnosis when I have taught it to you, you always retain control over your thoughts and actions.
When can hypnosis be used?
* During pregnancy,
Hypnosis is a great tool to help you with all your physical and psychosomatic symptoms.
Its applications during pregnancy can be the following (among others…):
- Nausea, vomiting
- Pain
- Stress, anxiety, loss of confidence and irritability
- Fatigue and sleep disturbances
- Use of hypnosis in preparation for birth: Prepare and positively visualize pregnancy, childbirth and the relationship with your child
- Fulfilled sexuality
In special situations such as:
- The appearance of early contractions during pregnancy
- A baby in breech or transverse presentation
- A due date overrun
* For childbirth,
Hypnosis helps you gain serenity in the face of childbirth and discomfort, alone or with the help of your partner.
Hypnosis can also be used in order to live serenely a scheduled caesarean section or an epidural installation and in the context of needle phobia.
* After the birth of your baby,
Hypnosis allows each member of the family to trust themselves and to live well the relational transformations within the couple and the family. It therefore prevents baby blues and postpartum depression and also helps to regain sexual desire.
It is also a great tool for promoting lactation.
Hypnosis helps to better accept certain difficult experiences of birth.
Hypnosis is possible for all family members, not just the pregnant person.
Hypnosis also finds its place if your fertility is delayed or if you follow a process of medically assisted procreation (IVF).
It makes it possible to accept and better live the techniques of medically assisted procreation so that impatience and loss of confidence are transformed into a more serene and confident expectation.
