Closing the Bones Ceremony

Ritual treatment for healing and bodily and emotional recovery in postnatal

The birth of your child is a unique and transformative experience. It's a time filled with love, joy, and excitement, but it can also be challenging and exhausting for body and soul.

'Closing the Bones' Ceremony is a postpartum healing ritual inspired by Ecuadorian tradition and designed to honour and support women after the birth of their child.

It uses tummy massage, cradling and wrap techniques to help release pelvic tension and body trauma, as well as strengthen emotional connections with your child. The ceremony is often seen as a transformative and calming experience for the women who attend.

Closing the bones Ceremony is an important step in the journey of motherhood/parenthood. This is an opportunity to feel honoured, supported and surrounded by love during this important time of transition.

I hope to have the opportunity to share this experience with you.

This treatment is beneficial immediately after birth but also from a distance, a few months or years later.

It is absolutely suitable for bereavement situations (miscarriages or loss of a child) when the mother feels the need.

A session lasts about 2 hours taking the time to discuss your childbirth before the ritual and including the installation or 1:30 if we already know each other.

It is a healing time for You.

Would it be beneficial for you to have your baby kept outside the house during the treatment?
